Net income increased by $46.6 million, or 25%, to $235.3 million for Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024. However, for the six months ended June 30, 2025, net income decreased by $43.2 million, or 10%, to $381.9 million from $425.1 million in the prior year, primarily due to higher reportable catastrophes and increased depreciation expense.
Total revenues increased by $233.5 million, or 8%, to $3,158.4 million for Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024, and by $427.4 million, or 7%, to $6,232.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025. This growth was primarily fueled by higher net earned premiums and fees and other income in both Global Lifestyle and Global Housing segments.
Net cash provided by operating activities was $657.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, a decrease from $793.4 million in the prior year. This change was largely attributed to higher net paid claims, timing of collections in the mobile business, and the timing of tax payments (a refund was received in Six Months 2024).
